Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to learn the importance of the microbiological aspects of cosmetic products which are part of daily life; the history; the source and precautions of microbial contamination during production, packaging and sales.

Definition of microbiology and microorganisms; history of cosmetic microbiology; variety of cosmetic products and microbial contamination; hazard analysis and critical control point protocols of cosmetic products (HACCP); antimicrobial protective activity methods; validation methods
