Objectives of the Course

Teaching the histological structure of organs and systems.

Course Content

General structure of tissues, structure of the skin, side formations of the skin, histology of the digestive system and glands connected to the digestive system, microscopic anatomical structure of the respiratory, circulatory, excretory, nervous and endocrine systems, genital system and sensory system.

Digestive system organs; tongue, teeth, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines.
Week 3 - Theoretical & Practice
Glands connected to the digestive system; liver, gallbladder, pancreas.
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Respiratory system; trachea, lungs, bronchi and bronchioles.
Week 5 - Theoretical & Practice
The circulatory system; The structure of the heart, arteries, veins.
Week 6 - Theoretical & Practice
Urinary system organs; kidney, bladder, ureter.
Week 7 - Theoretical & Practice
Nervous system; central nervous system organs.
Week 8 - Theoretical & Practice
Nervous system; peripheral nervous system (Midterm Exam)
Week 9 - Theoretical & Practice
Endocrine system organs; pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid.

Endocrine system organs; adrenal gland, pineal gland, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract endocrine cells.

Female reproductive system; ovary, uterine tube, structure of the uterus.
