Objectives of the Course

The course intends to provide information about genetic factors in cancer formation, underlying molecular mechanisms and their importance.

Course Content

Cell structure and cell division, cellular and viral oncogenes, oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes and their mutations, cancer and its stages, angiogenesis, metastasis, immunotherapy and gene therapy.
