To teach the basic methods and informations of cytogenetics.
The definition cytogenetics and the purpose of chromosome studies, the method of obtaining chromosome from animals in vivo and in vitro methods, crushing and blasting methods, methods of making permanent preparations, the number, the size and shape of chromosomes, the B chromosomes, polytene chromosomes in living organisms, karyotype, and idiotip, centromeres index of chromosomes, arm ratio and relative lengths of chromosome, the structure of eukaryotic chromosomes, chromosome bands, C, G, Q and R bands, and mitosis and modifications mitosis, meiosis and recombination, Meiosis division deviations, non-disjunction, genomic imprinting.
