Objectives of the Course

To give information about the structures and reactions of biomolecules. Teaching the methods that can be applied for the recognition and qualitative and quantitative analysis of biochemical molecules.

Learning how to perform qualitative and quantitative analyzes of molecules in biological systems.

1.Gains the skill of experimental work in the laboratory.
2.Acquire and apply knowledge about qualitative and quantitative analysis of amino acids and proteins.
3.Learns the methods applied for protein purification.
4.Learns the applications of chromatographic techniques in the separation and purification of biomolecules.
5.Have knowledge about the determination of carbohydrates using qualitative and quantitative methods.
6.Learns about vitamins and learns how to extract vitamins from a source.
