Ability to explain the concepts of particle, atom and matter. Understanding the particles that make up the atom. To help understand quantum mechanics and molecular electronic structure with physical and mathematical expressions and to show ways to apply quantum mechanics to problems in chemistry.
Application of quantum mechanics and calculations to chemical models and reactions, atoms and molecules, calculation of emission and absorption energy amounts in excited atoms.
