Objectives of the Course

•To give basic information and understanding in order for students to evaluate rural social structure dynamics from a sociological perspective • To make students know and be able to use main concepts related to rural sociology • To make them be able to analyse rural transformations particularly in terms of its relation to social developments • To analyse the dynamics of rural transformations • To increase an awareness on the processes and socio-economic problems in rural areas
