Objectives of the Course

This course focuses on the relationship between the concepts of politics and communication. The aim of the course is for students to learn the basic concepts related to the field of political communication, which covers a wide area from political campaigns to the public sphere.

Course Content

Political communication in the course of historical development; speaking and listening in effective communication; influence, effective communication and persuasive speaking; definition and basic concepts of political communication; political communication and ideology; political communication, politics and power; the formation of public opinion; political campaign process; Political campaigns and voter analysis in Turkey; The main debates and issues related to the field of political communication are discussed on the axis of issues such as new media and political communication.
