Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to evaluate the social and economic structure of Ottoman Empire in the 14th and 19th centuries. For this purpose, firstly after the foundation process to the imperial status the current conditions will be discussed and then the socio-economic factors of its existence and success will be examined. The influential factors, evolution and dissolution on Ottoman growth will be discussed with interpretation, analysis and synthesis methods. Besides, for consolidation of subject, modern systems and structures will be comparison.
