The purpose of this course is to provide the students with the detailed information about the shape of mesnevi and also to introduce the mesnevis in the Classical Turkish Literature
the emergence of the shape of mesnevi and its historical development, the structure and the form of fiction of the mesnevi poetry, resources of the mesnevis, the reason for writing motifs in mesnevis, the local elements, the elements of tale and the social value judgements in mesnevis, characters in mesnevis, mesnevis by subject classification
