Objectives of the Course

To investigate about belief, faith and place of the Turkish culture

Course Content

Belief concepts. Pre-Islamic belief systems. Totems, animism, spirit, shamanism, Budizim, of Zoroastrians, Manihaizim Turks and Abrahamic religions, Islam, Pre Connected Belief Systems of the cult, Put-Fetish, Cult, Cult of Ancestors, Sky God, the cult, the Cult of Nature, Death and the Cult of the Dead, Magic and Growth , fortune telling and prophecy, shape-changing Don

1.Students gain the ability of speaking and writing in Turkish language correctly, clearly and literary
2.Students can make researches about folklore by learning required methods and technics
3.Students gain the basic knowledge and skills of the ability of making researches and studies in Turkish Language and Literature field
