Objectives of the Course

To recognize the alphabets used by the Turks throughout history and the works produced with these alphabets.

Course Content

Learning the alphabets used by Turks since the emergence of Turkish written documents. Examining the spelling order and origins of these alphabets.

1.Learns the origin and structural features of Turkish script.
2.Have an opinion on the first writing systems of the Turks and the content of these writings.
3.Learns the effect of change and movement based on geography on language, spelling and writing.
4.Learns the effect of religious change on spelling depending on writing and change and its traces in Turkish language.
5.Learns the differences between the historical phases of the Turkish language in the characteristics of the writing and its reflections in the cultural field.
