Objectives of the Course

To understand structures of Persian words used in Classical Turkish literature, to know ways of word inflection in Persian language, to be informed of Persian language and grammar.

Course Content

Knowledge of Persian words,practices with Persian examples, practices with mid-level proses and poems chosen from Persian literature.

Tenses of Persian language: The simple past tense in Persian language. Practices with examples.
Week 7 - Theoretical
Tenses of Persian language: The past continious tense in Persian language. Practices with examples.
Week 8 - Theoretical
Tenses of Persian language: The present simple tense in Persian language. Practices with examples.

Names of days, months, season and colours in Persian language. Practical examples related to these.
