Objectives of the Course

To learn the definition and the theory of literature; literary analysis, the nature and function of literature.

1.To be able to analyse the differences between the science of literature and art of literature
2.To be able to recognise the science of literature, the main field of literature and realise the function of literature
3.To be able to realise the theory, history, critisism, sociology, education of literature and the comperative literature; and to realise the differences between them
4.To to be able to analyse a literary text within the framework of sientific criteria as a scientist of literature
5.To be able to explain the concept of “literary theory” and realise the similarities and the differences between the different text analysing methods

Knowledge about psychoanalysis and criticism, its representatives, origin and development.
