Objectives of the Course

To develop abilities about theoretical knowledge and collection applications related to folklore

Course Content

Different theoretical perspectives in folklore studies; textual approaches and contextual approaches. The methods of collecting, evaluating and analyzing products in folklore; protection of ethnological products; usage of these products.

4.Recognizes context-centered scientific methods in the field of folklore and gains the ability to examine folk knowledge products using these methods.
5.Learns to deepen the knowledges in the field of folklore and to gain the knowledge and equipment to conduct postgraduate studies.
