Objectives of the Course

Studying on the selected text samples of Modern Turkish Literatures in terms of the content, the form and the mode with the characteristics of the style which they belong to

Course Content

Main line presentation of literatures of the Turks, living outside Turkey, with well-known literary personalities and giving examples of their works. In the meanwhile, informing about Turkish literatures in Iran, Iraqi, Yugoslavia, Greece and Bulgaria

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to understand and comment on the texts of Modern Turkish World Literatures
2.To acquire the knowledge and the ability of commenting and comparing the works which are taken an example by different parts of Turkish World
3.To acquire the ability of evaluation of the works belong to Turkish World by the help of the knowledge and the accumulation which have been made up since years
4.To acquire the ability of turning accumulation about literature into practicing by studying on the selected text samples of Modern Turkish Literatures
5. To acquire the knowledge and the ability of analyzing, commenting and localizing the examined works in Turkish language, culture and literature
6. To consider the possessed knowledge according to the geographical place where the works are located in, with regard to historical facts and events; and associating all these knowledge with other disciplines
7.To acquire equipment and the ability of renewing himself constantly and coming after by examining by new knowledge and methods which appear in this field
8.To acquire the ability of getting resources related to the Modern Turkish World via libraries via technological ways
9.To acquire accumulation and the ability of practicing and raising the possessed knowledge and the abilities to a higher rank in modern field and universal level
10. To consider to raise the possessed knowledge and the abilities to a higher rank via scientific ways; to acquire the accumulation and the ability of Undergraduate education according to evaluation, commenting, knowledge, ability and equipment
