The aim of this course is to give information about the recent history of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan which gained their independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union and to evaluate the recent history of the East Turkestan occupied by China.
