Objectives of the Course

Between 1938- 2000, Turkey in social, political and economic developments evaluating the democratization efforts will be specified.

Course Content

Atatürk Period, İnönü Period, transition to multi-party life, II. The effects of World War II on Turkish society, revolutions, DP, AP and CHP periods, constitutions and comparisons, Armenian issue in the Republican period and political history until 1980s will be examined.
