Objectives of the Course

Making students conscious of the foreign policy followed by Turkish Republic from the building process. Giving comparative intentions of foreign policies from the preiod of Ottoman to Turkish Republic.

Course Content

Political events in the world from the beginning of the 20th century (Blocking in Europe, inter-block struggle, Balkan Wars, World War I, 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, political events in the interwar period, the relationship between democracy and totalitarianism, World War II The Cold War period, the demolition of the Berlin Wall and the unification of the two Germany, the disintegration of the USSR and Yugoslavia, are dealt with on the basis of its political implications and consequences. domestic and foreign policy in the period up to the end of the 20th century the founding of the Republic of Turkey is described in conjunction with each other.
