Objectives of the Course

Chronologically the cultures of Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze and Iron ages will be analyzed according to their technologic developments, settlements, architectural and small findings.

Course Content

Chronologically the cultures of Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze and Iron ages will be analyzed according to their technologic developments, settlements, architectural and small findings. The relations between the neighbouring cultures are compared and contrasted. Differences between religious beliefs, economics and administrative organizations of those periods are examined within cause and effect relations.

1. Students have theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Art History.
2.Students follow developments in the field of Art History by using a foreign language.
3.Students collect, analyse and interpret related data in Art History and share it with scholars as well as the institutions.
