Objectives of the Course

This course serves as an advanced-level successor to Advanced English for Economics I. It aims to further enhance students’ English proficiency in economics by equipping them with skills to analyze academic texts, interpret international data sources, and present economic issues effectively in English. The course also incorporates AI-powered tools for language development, thereby improving students’ digital literacy and communication competence in academic and professional contexts.

Course Content

This course focuses on developing critical reading skills through the analysis of current academic articles in economics. Students work with international data sources (OECD, IMF, World Bank, etc.) to practice interpreting reports and presenting findings. AI-supported writing and translation tools are integrated to support individual written expression. Students are expected to prepare and deliver at least one individual or group presentation during the semester.
