Objectives of the Course

The course aims to understand the concepts of e-commerce, social commerce, and mobile commerce, as well as their importance and types. In addition to gaining knowledge about trends and current models in e-commerce, it aims to evaluate them through new trend and model examples. It examines the development and implementation processes of e-commerce in adapting to the digital world. It enables comparisons with global examples to understand the growth of e-commerce, social commerce, and mobile commerce in Turkey.

Course Content

The history and importance of e-commerce, e-commerce based on the degree of digitalization, development and implementation processes of e-commerce, rapidly spreading developments surrounding e-commerce, the way e-commerce shapes business strategies and organizational structure, the impact of e-commerce on all sectors and markets, e-commerce marketplaces, cross-border e-commerce, and key technologies and trends shaping the future of retail.
