The Industrial Economics course aims to provide students with a detailed understanding of market structures and firm behavior. By analyzing different types of markets (perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition, and oligopoly), this course enables students to learn how firms make strategic decisions in these markets. In addition, topics such as game theory, R&D and innovation processes, technological change and competition policies are covered to develop students' ability to apply and analyze economic theories in practice. In this way, students will be able to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
Industrial Economics course focuses on the analysis of market structures and firm behavior. Different types of markets such as perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition, oligopoly and monopolistic competition are discussed and the strategic decisions of firms in these markets are analyzed. Topics such as game theory, R&D and innovation processes, technological change and competition policies are covered to develop students' ability to apply and analyze economic theories in practice.
