Objectives of the Course

Corporate governance investigates the relationship between the firm and the stakeholders based on justice and ethical values. The purpose of this course is to introduce the corporate governance concept and help to build awareness in students on the issues related to corporate governance.

Course Content

Corporate and corporate governance; shareholders, board of directors, managers and employees roles, rights and social responsibilities; The relationship between ethics and management; honesty, transparency and professionalism in management; international corporate management; examples of application from Turkey and in the world.
