Objectives of the Course

Clarifying the objects and the procedures of financial management studies that are made at banks including the legislation obligations

Course Content

Topics, Objectives and Methodology of the course. Introduction to the course. Turkish banking history, the definition of the Bank, types and its place in the financial markets, analysis of job positions at the Bank and the detailed analysis of each position, basic banking services and products and the banks balance sheet, liquidity and reserves, capital adequacy, Credit Risk Management and Interest Rate Risk Management , Balance Sheet Income Creator Activities, Accounting of Banking Operations through T-accounts, Banking Regulation and Supervision,Banking Sector Structure and Competition, Changes in Banking after the Crisis, Latest Developments in the banking sector and its future.
