Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire core English terminology used in public finance, comprehend English texts on fiscal issues, interpret fiscal data and indicators, and communicate effectively on basic public-finance topics in English.

Course Content

The course focuses on core English terminology used in public finance and on fundamental fiscal topics such as taxation, public expenditure, budgeting, public debt, inflation, economic growth, fiscal policy, and income distribution. Through authentic texts, charts, tables, and audiovisual materials, students develop reading, listening, interpretation, and translation skills related to their field.
