Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enhance students' English proficiency in public finance by enabling them to analyze complex fiscal texts, interpret fiscal data, deliver oral and written presentations on public-finance issues, and effectively use advanced professional terminology.

Course Content

The course covers advanced English terminology and analytical language in public finance. Topics such as tax policy, public debt and sustainability, budget institutions, financial crises, income distribution, development finance, globalization, and fiscal sovereignty are examined through authentic reports and academic texts. Students develop skills in interpreting complex charts and tables, preparing analytical summaries and reports, delivering presentations, and translating specialized texts.
