Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to ensure that students get the information about structural and functional dimensions of public administration, theories of bureaucracy, concepts and elements of administration, control and audit concepts, public administration control mechanisms, and types of audit.

Course Content

This course contains from past to present development of public management audit function, audit approaches of public administration, types of audit, ombudsman control, current changes in Turkish public administration control, and control of local administrations, independent regulatory commissions.
