Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to become familiar with official correspondence formats and to learn protocol rules in order to conduct high-quality correspondence appropriate to the objective.

Course Content

The content of this course aims to enable students to grasp the fundamental principles and rules of written communication; to familiarize them with the linguistic, structural, and content-related characteristics of official and private correspondence; and to equip them to draft these types of correspondence accurately, effectively, and in a manner appropriate to the purpose. Furthermore, the course covers the protocols governing intra-organizational and inter-organizational communication, aiming to develop the skills in official communication, representation, and corporate conduct that students require in their professional lives.

1.Explains the fundamental principles of written communication and distinguishes between official and personal correspondence.
2.Prepares and organizes official correspondence in accordance with formal structure, content, and language rules.
3.Effectively applies correspondence techniques used in intra- and inter-organizational communication processes.
4.Analyzes protocol rules and demonstrates appropriate conduct in official meetings, ceremonies, invitations, and institutional representation.
5.Uses digital communication tools and electronic correspondence practices in accordance with professional ethics.
