Objectives of the Course

The Total Quality Management course aims to introduce the concept of quality and its relationship with workforce and organizational success. The course covers quality management systems, quality control tools and strategies, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. Students will gain the necessary skills to apply total quality management principles to enhance the operational efficiency and competitive advantage of organizations.

Course Content

This course will cover the fundamentals of total quality management systems, quality standards, process improvement, and continuous development. Students will learn how to use quality control tools and techniques, and how to monitor and measure quality at the organizational level. The importance of customer orientation, leadership, and employee involvement in quality processes will also be discussed.

1.Defines and analyzes the concepts, principles, and areas of application of total quality management.
2.Evaluates the structures of quality management systems, such as ISO 9000, and their organizational benefits.
3.Develops process improvement strategies using quality control tools and techniques.
4.Assesses the importance of customer satisfaction and employee involvement, and develops strategies to apply these factors in quality management.
5.Suggests strategies to improve organizational efficiency and quality by applying continuous improvement and the Kaizen philosophy.
