Objectives of the Course

The aim is to introduce financial markets and instruments in general and to enable the student to make detailed analysis and evaluation in financial markets and make rational investment decisions.

Course Content

Structure and functioning of financial markets, interest mechanism, capital markets in Turkey, definition and valuation of securities, derivatives, risk and return, fundamental and technical analysis, portfolio management and optimization.
