The course aims to introduce students to the fundamental concepts in economics and to provide a way of understanding how the economic units such as firms and households decide to allocate their limited resources among alternatives uses to maximize their profits and utilities.
Demand, Supply, Price and Income, Cost and Production, Competitive Markets, Monopoly, Imperfect Markets, Production Factor Markets, Welfare Economics, General Equilibrium topics are explained. .
