Objectives of the Course

To provide information about the general hardware of computers, introduce computer technologies, demonstrate the use of some office applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), and emphasize the importance of these applications in professional work.

Course Content

Computer hardware, fundamental operating systems of computers, introduction to MS Office programs, introduction to MS Word, using MS Word, midterm exam, introduction to MS Excel, using MS Excel, introduction to MS PowerPoint, using MS PowerPoint.
