Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to learn some basic information about the EU, and to gain knowledge and skills to compare Turkish and EU’s agriculture and agricultural policies.

Course Content

The concept and stages of economic integration Establishment and development of the EU Bodies of the European Union The EU Common Policies, The EU Common Agricultural Policy, Turkey- European Union Relations, Effects of the Customs Union and Results Structure of the Agricultural Sector in Turkey and the EU, Agricultural policies in Turkey and European Union, EU-Turkey Customs Union Agreement, Harmonization of Agriculture and Agricultural Policy in Turkey
