Objectives of the Course

Main objective of this study is to obtain of the students’ ability impact assessment of supporting programs and grant encouragements implemented intended for being provided rural development.

Course Content

Introduction to impact assessment, defining of evaluation questions, how assessment would be done, how a method for impact assessment would be implemented intended for rural development program and supports would be explained in detailed way.

2.Obtaining the ability revealing assessment approaches; causal inference, counterfactuals, randomized selection methods, regression discontinuity design, difference-in-differences, matching, combining methods, evaluating multifaceted programs
3.Gaining the ability to implementing of impact assessment to operationalize the impact evaluation design of rural development programs
4.Acquiring abilities for choosing the sample, collecting data, producing and disseminating findings
5.To be able to select appropriate data according to applied policies
