Students are aimed to learn the concept and measurement of plant diseases, common symptoms of plant diseases caused by abiotic and biotic agents, and to acquire knowledge on general principles of plant diseases management.
Course includes basic concept and measurable parameters of plant disease (such as incidence, prevalance, intensity and crop losses), common disease symptoms caused by biotic and abiotic agents, therotical and practical knowledge regarding sanitation, biological, physical, chemical and integrated control methods of plant disease.
