Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to demonstrate structural elements of landscape architecture, and construction details and techniques.

Course Content

The content of this course is about site preparation-grading, site drainage, erosion control-site utilities-landscape retaining walls and stairs.

1.To be able to obtain information on site preparation and protection of existing site elements and removing of unwanted site elements
2.To be able to have knowledge about site grading, site drainage, erosion control and their application techniques
3.To be able to have knowledge about site lighting and irrigation system installation
4.To be able to have knowledge about the materials used in the construction of different types of retaining walls and stairs and their construction techniques
5.To be able to understand the relationship between design and construction
