The objective of this course is to supply a general perspective about landscape and architecture arts throughout history while processing landscape architecture profession for students and to compare the differences and relationships between gardens that have been constructed in different periods and cultures in Anatolia and in the world.
This course explores impact on the development of garden and landscape art of the ancient Anatolian (Hittite, Urartu, Phrygia, Lydia, Lycia, Caria), and Asia Minor (Egypt, Persia, Mesopotamia), Ancient civilizations, Greek, Roman, Medieval Europe, Islam, the Far East (China, Japan), Renaissance , Baroque, naturalism and Turkish art of Anatolia throughout history.
