Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is demonstration, choosing and principles of using the mechanizations in aquaculture.

Course Content

Culture systems, energy (energy Resources, electrical systems and equipment, transformers, and generators). Lighting systems and the equipment. Water conveyance systems, pipes and types, technical characteristics and application fields. Moto-pumps, types and usage areas. Water filtration, mechanical filters, biological filters. Sterilization and disinfection methods, UV filters, ozone systems. Mechanization of the discharge ponds. Aquatic life and oxygen (air conduction, the mechanization of oxygenated). Installation and usage of heating and cooling system patterns, heat conduction. Grading systems and mechanization, application areas.

1.Knowledge of the material by increasing the awareness of the importance of selection of mechanization.
2.To know the technical characteristics of necessary equipment in aquaculture systems.
3.The selection of suitable equipment and the application in aquaculture.
4.Be able to anticipating and preventing problems that might became in aquaculture and finding solutions.
5.To follow the new technological developments and be able to adapt in current aquaculture system
