Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to introduce the students aquaculture engineering and related issues

Course Content

Short description of the marine and freshwater resources, management and utilization of aquatic areas, organization of fishery products in Turkey, informing the public institutions related to employment areas and fisheries engineers, an overview of Turkey and the world's fishing , fisheries production and fisheries statistics, aquaculture situation in the world and in Turkey, methods used in aquaculture industry, fisheries and the environment, the future of aquaculture and sectoral structure
