Objectives of the Course

To obtain information about, the importance of fish in the animal kingdom, systematics and evolution, important morphological and anatomical characters, distribution of freshwater and marine fish in Turkey, jawless , cartilaginous and bony fishes

Course Content

The importance of classification, principles of classification, Systematics of fishes, evolution of fishes, morphometric and meristic characters, distribution of freshwater and marine fish and species and families of jawless , cartilaginous and bony fishes
