Objectives of the Course

To understand the chemical structure of the cell and its energy requirements; to learn the chemical structures and properties of biological macromolecules and the biochemical basis of cellular signal transduction.

Course Content

Biochemistry, biological molecules, proteins, anabolism and catabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, nucleic acids, hormones and vitamins.
