Objectives of the Course

To gain ability of weather forecasting at the sea, international communication and accurate observations of weather events in order to achieve safe navigation and fishing.

Course Content

Basic meteorology in maritime. Meteorological elements; weather temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity cloud and precipitation. Global atmospheric circulation, pressure and wind systems, monsoons, local winds. Weather forecasting at sea.
