Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to teach the aquaculture engineer candidates brootstock, larvae, survege, pre-feeding and the cage methods used in the species which are produced most intensively in Turkey: sea bass and sea bream

Course Content

Characteristics of broodstock, eggs, larvae, juvenile and portion sizes sea bass and sea bream, culture systems, problems experienced in the process, and economic relations will be defined

1. Be able to select the members of sea bream-bass broodstocks to be taken to the cultural environment
2. Be able to fallow incubation process of eggs of sea bream-bass
3. Be able to classify the sub units of sea bream-bass production facilities
4. Be able to provide optimum biotic and abiotic conditions in the production environment
5.Be able to apply different sea bream-bass production techniques
