Objectives of the Course

To teach basic concepts, fish feeding methods and principles by taking consider nutritional properties and nutrient requirements of the species.

Course Content

To evaluate aquaculture sector in terms of using food, bait types and their content, importance of productions as feed, quality control methods, evaluation of data collection, reducing feed loses in nutrition, problems and their solutions

1.To be able to analyse chemical relations and physiological interactions between fish biochemistry and feed sources in fish feeding.
2.To be able to analyse economic relations between environment, fish and nutrition
3.To be able to interpret monitoring methods, formulas and evaluations of growing in fish feding
4.Fish feeding methods used in aquaculture and environmental conditions.
5.To be able to distinguish feeding and foraging
6.To be able to apply ready feeding program and registrate
7.To be able to make literature study for learning fish feeding regimes and protocols according to fish species and their different periods
