Objectives of the Course

Explain the physiology of labor pain, the pain of the factors affecting birth, pharmacological methods of pain control in labor and non-pharmacological methods, and to investigate the role of midwives to cope with the pain of childbirth

Course Content

Pain, labor pain physiology, pain theories, pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of pain control in childbirth, and the postpartum period pain, pain management after cesarean delivery, the role of midwife to cope with the pain of childbirth
