Objectives of the Course

The objective of this lesson is to make students have knowledge about development of Artistic Gymnastics in the world and in Turkey, tools in Artistic gymnastics, points to take into account in teaching, safety, help, and landing techniques, teaching methods of basic skills, and Artistic gymnastics competitions

Course Content

General information about the artistic gymnastics, the historical development of artistic gymnastic, presentation of female and male tools, security measures during training and competitions, qualities of a fully equipped gymnastics hall, women's and men's competition rules and the contest organization, talent selection, school, club and family relationships in the development of gymnastics, value of gymnastics education in terms of child development, the organizational structure of the federation, measures to be taken in promoting the culture of the artistic gymnastics, transition links with the basic skills movement,
