Objectives of the Course

To discuss the emergence of sports psychology, the historical development of different fields combining to form sports sciences, today's sports psychology and its functions, sports psychology in children and psychological age classification. To know the diagnostic methods that can be used in coach and athlete relationship, sports psychology and to apply them in real environments.

Course Content

The nature of psychological science, an overview of sports psychology, personality, mental processes, motivation, competition and competition anxiety, aggression, group processes, etc.
