Objectives of the Course

The objectives of this lesson is to be able to teach and to learn basic swimming techniques and skills, and to make students learn four swimming techniques and constructive exercises.

Course Content

Learning and teaching of basic swimming skills and techniques, life-saving in water, survival,theoretical instruction about first-aid, the culture about how to use swimming facilities, warm-up before swimming, learning of swimming techniques

Week 1 - Theoretical
Explaining the procedures of entrance and registration to facility and analysing the swimming pool practices by using video
Week 2 - Theoretical
Explaining how to use the parts of the facility by the book. Explaining the rules of conduct about pool deck. Explaining the rules of bathing, clothing
Week 3 - Theoretical
Explanation and application of pre-swim land warming-up activities
Week 4 - Theoretical
Bathing. Exhalation and freestyle swimming exercises. Opening eyes under the water.
Week 5 - Theoretical
By holding the pool-side, freestyle exhalation, arm-foot coordination and strengthening exercises
Week 6 - Theoretical
Freestyle and backstroke, pool side or kick board breath-stroke-kick coordination learn and boost exercises.
Week 7 - Theoretical
