By associating the concept of free time with the science of sociology, it aims to introduce the relationship between free time and society and the social structures of the participants and to explain the functions of the activities that can be done.
The definition of leisure time, the importance for individuals and community, the formation of leisure time in the context of productıon and consumptıon, the progression during the hıstorical process, evaluatıon of leısure time according to cultural structures and different socio-cultural structures toward the past and today, entertaınment culture, popular culture and the relatıonshıp between leısure tıme.
